In the summer, I tend to strip my beauty regimen down to the bare essentials, allowing my skin to breathe and simplify my day-to-day routine. Here's whats making the cut this season:
It Cosmetics CC Cream: It Cosmetics has quickly grown to be one of my favorite lines. The products are high quality, blend seamlessly into skin and are infused with good-for-skin ingredients. Applied with a beauty blender, their CC cream coverage is medium-to-full, long lasting and perfectly dewy. It's the ultimate summer foundation.
RMS Beauty Living Luminizer: Want a "lit from within" look? Living Luminizer delivers. I prefer cream-based highlighters over powder, as I find they blend more naturally with the skin.
W3LL People Universalist Multi Stick: This multi-use marvel adds the perfect amount of flush to the cheeks and lip. "Dusty Rose" is the perfect hue for all skin tones.
Ouai Hair Oil: I was completely intrigued with the idea of a hair oil. Sure, I've used plenty to mask with, but never as a styling aid/heat protectant. The oil gets the job done and adds a great sheen to my strands.
Arcona Raspberry Clarifying Pads: With sweltering temps on the rise, we're likely to sweat more throughout the day... leading to congested, broken out skin. These pads leave my skin clear and have been in heavy rotation for years now.
Verso Facial Oil: Even in the summer months, I can't give up my face oil! I love how Verso combined it's power packed Retinol 8 complex with the nourishing benefits of an oil. I've been using the product for over a month and am seeing a more bright, radiant complexion.
Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser: Currently my favorite way to exfoliate. Be sure to pre-cleanse prior to using to ensure you've gotten all of your makeup off.
Lune + Aster Primer: Though I try to simplify my routine, I can't be without face primer (especially in the warmer months). I love the light diffusing factor that this primer has.
Goddess Garden Organic Sunscreen: One of my favorite sunscreen brands. Quality SPF, made without harmful chemicals.
Yves Saint Laurent Lip Oil: These oils deliver a gorgeous wash of color on the lips, staining them slightly (for that perfect "just bitten" type look). They're incredibly hydrating as well.
