Get Your Self Care On: 3 Mask Recipe's to Try

facemask

Can I just say, I'm loving this whole "Self-Care" trend? I'm all for taking a day to pamper, slather on a few masks and exfoliate from head to toe — it's so incredibly important to have that "me" time. (if you can fit it into your schedule, of course)

If you find yourself at home with a few hours to spare, toss on a robe, draw yourself a bath, and try mixing up one of these DIY masks. They're incredibly simple to put together, and are easy on the wallet, too.

Raspberry Face Mask: Anti-aging
6-8 mashed raspberries
1 green tea bag
1-2 tablespoons plain yogurt

Steep tea in hot water for 1-2 minutes. Cut bag open to free tea leaves afterwards. Then combine raspberries and yogurt. Place onto face for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm washcloth.

Strawberry Mask: Tighten and Brighten Skin
1/4 cup mashed strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon yogurt
1 tablespoon honey

Combine all ingredients (you'll want a "mashed" texture). Place onto face for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm washcloth.

Avocado Mask: For Hydrated and Plump Skin
1/2 a very ripe avocado
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil

Combine all 3 ingredients (be sure to melt coconut oil first before measuring). Place onto face for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm washcloth.

Chocolate Mask: Clear and Protected Skin
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
5 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of milk

Combine all ingredients. Place onto face for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm washcloth
