Fall produce makes for some of the best beauty DIY's and products around! From antioxidant-rich apple masks to enzyme-filled pumpkin treatments — I’m sharing a few skin-benefiting DIY's with ingredients found at your local Farmer's Market.

Antioxidant-Rich Face Mask:

  • Peel one fresh (medium-sized) apple (ensuring the seeds are removed) and place into blender with a teaspoon of water

  • Mix together until smooth

  • Add 1 tbsp of Raw Honey to the mixture and blend until combined

  • If skin is on the sensitive side, I also like to add in 1 TBSP of oats to the mixture and blend until combined

Apply onto freshly washed skin for 20 minutes. Hydrate afterwards.

Sweet Cinnamon Lip Scrub

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 tsp Sugar (preferably something granular like Sugar in the Raw or Brown Sugar)

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil

  • 1-2 Drops Essential Oil of your choice (I suggest Vanilla or Sweet Orange)

Place all ingredients in a small bowl and combine. Place onto lips and rub in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes. Remove the scrub with a warm cloth.

Nourishing Pumpkin Vanilla Chapstick

  • 2 tsp Pumpkin Seed Oil (if difficult to find, opt for Almond Oil)

  • 1 tsp Beeswax

  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil

  • 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

Place Beeswax in a small glass bowl and microwave for 45 seconds (or until melted completely). Next, add in the pumpkin seed oil and coconut oil until combined. Lastly, add the pumpkin pie spice and mix until combined. While mixture is still warm, transfer to desired container for application. Allow to cool overnight and enjoy!

Exfoliating Spice Latte Sugar Scrub

  • 1 cup Sugar (preferably something granular like Sugar in the Raw or Brown Sugar)

  • 2 TBSP Pumpkin Puree (either store bought or make your own)

  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil

  • 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

  • 10-20 Drops of your favorite essential oil (I love using Vanilla for this)

Combine the sugar, puree, olive oil, pumpkin pie spice and essential oils together in one large bowl. Transfer mixture to smaller, plastic containers with a lid to place in shower for use. Use in shower for up to 1 week.
